Reading Assessment

Logan had his reading assessment yesterday afternoon (Callum and I hung out in the classroom during the test.) Logan's new teacher invited all parents to observe their child's assessment, if they wish, to see how it goes and to get to know her (and vice versa) too.

Logan did great. She told him she was going to test him again next week with harder material since clearly this assignment was too easy! LOL

Logan acted as teacher and "taught" Callum some reading at the classroom mat, while I sat and talked to Logan's teacher for a bit. She's most interested in the kids practicing their reading more than anything (she's a reading nazi), and wanted to stress with me that we should keep up with the reading (as we are), if all else fails.

She's going to be tough (on the kids) but I like her. ;-)
