Our third stop was at Stow-on-the-Wold, which I think is the largest of the Cotswolds. Sadly, almost everything was closed up for the day (except for a couple of restaurants here and there), since we had arrived so late... so, we didn't stay long at all, just long enough to walk to the town center and back, and get a feel for the place.
Last on our list was Chipping Norton (we essentially drove in a circle from Woodstock, around a few of the Cotswolds villages, and then back)... we stopped there since a famous actor that Jon and the boys like (Jeremy Clarkson) lives there (or at least, owns a home there) and they wanted to see what all the hubbub was about. It's also, apparently, pretty popular since it's the "gateway" into the Cotswolds (from Oxford, we presume), so many people do visit it.
We actually liked this town quite a bit, and because it was now nearing past dinner time for us all, we stopped at a yummy little local place (the Whistlers) for a pizza and soup dinner!
I took a pic of the outside because Callum wants to make sure we remember this place, so that "when we come back to England, we can come here again". π
